Special Post!

Ahoy, fellow voyagers! Welcome aboard to Let The Ship Sail! This is your captain Loveseeker speaking. As a special treat to all of you who have been following me all these weeks, I've decided to make a special tribute post to my favorite type of shipping of all. That's right, I'm talking about INCEST! Because after all, how could two souls be more perfect for each other than when they're already related by blood? APRIL FOOL'S!!!! :) Hope you all enjoyed that. Seriously, though, I wanna take this chance to give you all a little update about this blog. As you can imagine, it's gotten less fun to force myself to push out a whole detailed analysis about a certain pairing every week, which is why I haven't posted in a couple of weeks. To be honest, I actually started this blog because I was hoping that one day it would become popular enough to attract sponsors and I could actually make living off of it. But now I realize that, in all likelihood, that&#

Ahoy! Welcome aboard to Let the Ship Sail! This is your captain Loveseeker speaking! Our destination this time around is a little town called Beach City, the home of one of the most promising young couples to date. Steven Universe and Connie Maheswaran from the hit animated series Steven Universe . Steven is a half-human half-alien boy with magical powers. He's upbeat and loves to have fun and make friends. Connie is a shy bookworm who is new to Beach City and not nearly as good at making friends. When the two of them first meet, Steven tries to impress Connie by showing off his bike, but then they end up getting trapped in a giant bubble together. At first, Connie doesn't know what to make of Steven or his powers, but the more time they spend together, the more she starts to love it. Over the course of the series, Steven and Connie have become best friends. They've been through so much together in the short time that they've known each other. They even lear

Ahoy! Welcome to Let The Ship Sail! This is your captain Loveseeker speaking! In honor of a recently released episode, I've decided to return to The Loud House for a look at another favorite ship from that series. The pairing of characters Luna Loud and Sam Sharp, also known as Saluna. Image by SP2233 Luna Loud is the third oldest sibling of the Loud family and an up-and-coming rockstar. She's a master of multiple different instruments and her biggest idol is rock legend Mick Jagger  Swagger. Luna's energy, passion and explosive personality easily make her the loudest of all. Sam is Luna's friend and band mate, but until two years ago, no one had ever even heard of her. It all started with the episode "L is for Love," where the Loud siblings find a love letter in the mailbox addressed to a one L. Loud, which could be any of them. In order to find out who the letter is really for, they each send signals and tokens of affection to their respective crush

Ahoy, loyal voyagers! Welcome to Let The Ship Sail! This your captain Loveseeker speaking! This week, I'm going to tell you about one of the oldest ships I've ever been a fan of. They're a couple of superpowered teen crime fighters. Give it up for Beast Boy and Terra from the series Teen Titans . Or as I like to call them, Rock 'n Roar. Once again, I can only speak as far as the animated series from 2003 since that's the material I'm the most familiar with. Also, spoilers will be included. Now let's get this started, shall we? Beast Boy is a green-skinned shapeshifter with the power to turn into animals. He's the self-proclaimed "funny guy" of the team and has the sense of humor (and poor luck) to back it up. Terra is a rough-and-tumble tomboy with the power to manipulate the earth. She has a pretty complicated history, but what superhero doesn't? Terra first appears in the Season 2 episode "Terra." She impressed the Tita

Ahoy! Welcome to Let the Ship Sail! This is your captain Loveseeker speaking. Today our vessel is docking in the magical land of Equestria to look in on a certain couple that proves that love really does have the power to transcend species. I'm speaking of course about the beautiful pairing of Rarity and Spike from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic . Rarity is a unicorn with an eye for detail and a passion for making things beautiful. She's the owner of her very own fashion line and her own line of clothing stores. And as the official Element of Generosity, she never misses a chance to give a present or do something kind for anyone in need. Spike is the loyal life-long assistant of the main character, Twilight Sparkle. He's a young dragon with a good heart who is always willing to help out whenever he's needed. When Spike first comes to Ponyville and meets Rarity for the first time, he is immediately smitten and over the course of the series, that crush has per

Ahoy! Welcome to Let the Ship Sail! This is your captain Loveseeker speaking. There's a term that gets tossed around in shipping circles called a "rare pair." It's a ship that's mostly only supported by a small minority of a fandom as opposed to ones that are much more popular. I'm about to share with you one of my personal favorite rare pairs, Reneecoln, the pairing of the two characters Lincoln Loud and Renee from the animated series The Loud House. For those of you not familiar with this particular series, Lincoln Loud is the lead character. A boy in a house full of ten girls. Lincoln is a die-hard fan of comic book superhero Ace Savvy and in the season 2 episode "Back Out There," his friends try to help him find a new love interest after his old one, Ronnie Anne Santiago, moves away. The first girl they set him up with is Renee, a girl who's as big a fan of Ace Savvy as Lincoln is. At first, the two seem to hit it off really well, until

Diane x King

Ahoy! Welcome to Let the Ship Sail! This is your captain Loveseeker speaking and this week, we'll be looking at a ship that's fairly new to me, but that I still greatly adore nonetheless. It's none other than the pairing of Diane x King from The Seven Deadly Sins. Diane, The Serpent's Sin of Envy and a mighty warrior of the Giant race. She's sweet and bubbly most of the time, but get on her bad side and prepare to get squashed like a bug. She also has a bit of a jealous streak (hence her nickname) and can sometimes come off as an uppity little child, but she has an extremely kind heart, as strong sense of justice and is fiercely protective of those she cares about. King, The Grizzly's Sin of Sloth, is also known as Harlequin, the king of the Fairies. He may have the appearance of a 13-year-old, but in fairy years, he's basically an adult. He's a strong fighter with a sense of fairness and does his best to keep those he cares about safe, espec
